    I just mixed the bread dough together and I'm not seeing the same consistency as what you have. Everything is to a T with your flour recipe, and the dough recipe (except the heat activated backing powder). I don't know why it's not the consistency in the video but am going to let it proof for 4 or so hours and see if that changes anything. 😔

    سلام از خمیر اصلی که درست میکنید نمیشه یک مقدار بزارید کنار چند روز بمانه تا ترش بشه چهل سال پیش مادر بزرگم برای خمیر کردن همیشه همین کار رو میکرد یک مقدار خمیر میزاشت کنار اون ترش میشد برای دفعه بد.ممنون❤❤❤❤

    Never cut through aluminum foil after you’ve made the burrito. IF a small piece of foil breaks off and lands in the food and hits a filling during consuming you will experience a pain in your mouth that you’re not soon to forget. Just a friendly safety suggestion 👍🤓

    Is it possible to proof breads too long ? I made your Rye bread 1st time was amazing 2nd time I proofed for what seemed like 6 hours and it came out dense and flat as a board lol. Maybe I needed to proof longer ?

      Yes, it is. There's a fine line between under proofed and over proofed and with gluten free breads, it's sometimes really hard to figure it out. I keep checking it at 30 minute intervals, especially in the warmer months, so it doesn't go too long and collapse.

    Kim, I’ve been using your recipes for about four years now. I found you when searched for a GF pie crust (which is the best ever). My daughter in law is gluten sensitive with two sisters who have Celiac. The hamburger buns reminded her of “Butter-eyed Buns” she grew up eating in Finland. So I adapted your recipe for those. You form the bun, then use your finger to make an indent and fill it with a small cube of ice cold butter; sprinkle the top with Swedish Pearl Sugar; then bake like your recipe states. She almost cried she was so happy. Immediately took pictures and sent to Finland. We’ve made at least 30 of your recipes and our pantry is always stocked with “Kim’s All Purpose and Kim’s Bread Flour” at least 20 cups of each. Haven’t tried the multi grain yet but looking forward to it. You are simply a genius. We thank you every day!

    Oh thank you so much my 15 year old can't eat gluten. We buy already made bread he hates it. Says it's tasteless and dry. It goes bad way to fast and 9 dollars for a few slices just isn't cutting it anymore. I'm going to have to try this. Gluten doesn't only effect his allergy but it effects his grades and performance in school. Just for anyone who has an allergy to gluten don't let your Dr tell you that wheat and gluten are the same thing its not.

    So I didn't put as much powdered sugar as I needed to, so it didn't turn out to be pasty, but it is still pretty pasty. The next time I'll make it, I'm probably gonna add a bunch more powdered sugar. Because the powdered sugar that I have doesn't seem to me. Bright, I'm really wanting to mix with the butter or mixed with all the ingredients. You also have one of those faster mixers. I don't. Or we do, but I don't want to use it because I don't want to have to clean it because it's going to be a pain. So I tried to use a whisk to wash a lot. A decent amount of the the mixture tried to get as much as I could to get in. I didn't want to make a large batch because it was just me and us. We are a 3 person family I was trying to see if my mom and dad would want some. So I just made a little bit because I didn't know if I was going to like it. And we don't want to waste ingredients. Now I tasted the paste and everything used all the ingredients that you used, and it actually tastes pretty good. I'm excited to see what it tastes like I put it in the freezer to let it chill though, because maybe it will be just like yours. Anyways, thank you for this video I am very grateful because I've been wanting to get something that was peanut buttery and sugary all at night. Now, since I know how to cook, I am happy or big.I should say, even though it's a no big one

      There is no milk in this recipe. There is whey protein if that's what you're talking about, and there are plenty of substitution suggestions within the recipe for the flour blend.

      To each their own. She uploads plenty of delicious gluten free recipe videos and this could be a simple recipe for those that don’t have the time to warm it over a stove but want to whip up a quick sweet treat. Have you considered that not everything gluten free has to be completely sugar free? Anyway, Dawna, you can always just use a replacement sweetener rather than leaving a negative comment 😸

    I do want to try this recipe, but finding it hard to justify spending SO MUCH on ingredients. $25 for psyllium husk, $29 for whey protein, $15 for rice flour, $24 for potato starch, $21 for tapioca flour, $20 for xantham gum. (these are prices for the links on your recipe page). Now i know the primary ingredients (Potato Starch and Rice Flour) are the bulk of the recipe so really those are your limiting costs, and I could go in and determine the cost per ounce to see exactly how much it would be given the recipe.... but I'm really trying to see if there is a simpler (mostly cost neutral) option. Is there a bought gluten free flour mix you've atleast seen moderate success with that doesnt require us to purchase over $100 worth of flour ingredients? I saw someone mention gfjules on another recipe. And at $28-$33 for 4.5lbs of flour, that just feels much more doable for a newly starting GF cook.

      The reason I developed my own blend is because none of those store bought blends created anything that I would like to eat. I wanted my breads to taste and have the texture that I remembered, and the only way to get that was with my own flour blend. Yes, it might be expensive initially, but your initial expense will make at least 16 loaves of bread (or more) and then replenishing costs are much lower.
